Beauty Lab

About A Brand: Beauty Lab

One of my prominent brand design projects of 2023 is Beauty Lab, a co-working space for beauty and wellness professionals.

The tagline: « Le bien-être partagé ».

The values: Community — Sharing — Freedom

The Vision: to offer a place to work to passionate professionals who don’t necessarily have the opportunity or the desire to manage all the aspects of renting commercial premises.

About Branding

Branding is about what your public sees and how you make them feel.

Thus, the magic of branding happens when visuals meet values. It’s a clever mix of brand identity (mission, vision, messaging, etc.) and visual identity (logo, colours, typography, etc.) that creates a synergy that pulls your people in, builds trust in your brand, and, ultimately, pushes your audience to become faithful customers.

About A Brand: Beauty Lab

Creating a serene and professional environment is no small feat in the bustling world of beauty and wellness, where every detail matters. Enter Beauty Lab—a coworking space tailored for beauty and wellness professionals.

Beauty Lab’s brand identity is designed with elegance, functionality, and versatility to reflect the sophisticated and empowering experience it provides its members and clients.

The Branding

The logo

Beauty Lab

The primary logo is composed of the symbol, the stylised brand name and the tagline.

It strikes a balance between sleek minimalism and bold design. Its typographic elegance is evident in the interplay of clean lines and unique lettering, embodying the duality of beauty and strength.

The symbol

Beauty Lab

Beauty Lab ‘s symbol is a circular emblem featuring a stylized “BB”, reinforcing the brand’s refined and timeless aesthetic.

The colours

Colours

The colour palette is a harmonious blend of neutral tones that exude sophistication:

  • Concrete: A light, airy gray to emphasize modernity and professionalism.
  • Swiss Coffee : A warm, muted beige for approachability and comfort.
  • Akaroa : A subtle nod to luxury and understated elegance.
  • Tundora : A deep, grounding charcoal that adds depth and contrast.
  • Indian Khaki : A soft, golden beige that lends an air of prestige.

The seamless gradients and tonal variations within this palette add versatility and flexibility across various mediums, ensuring the brand remains cohesive.

The typography

Beauty Lab

Magiesta is the primary type I selected for the headings on the website, in documents and in visuals.

It’s an elegant and unique sans serif font that uses ligatures to smoothly link letters.

The secondary type, that I use for subheadings, body texts, captions, and more, is an Adobe font named Gill Sans Nova.

This pairing is a perfect blend of modern sans-serif fonts, combining elegance with readability.

The mood

Beauty Lab is more than just a coworking space; it’s a hub where beauty and wellness professionals come together to thrive. The mission is clear: provide a luxurious, yet practical, space for entrepreneurs to run their businesses while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Whether you’re a hairstylist, a makeup artist, or a wellness therapist, Beauty Lab offers everything you need—from top-tier amenities to networking opportunities—to ensure your business flourishes. The brand aims to evoke feelings of trust, sophistication, and creativity while fostering a sense of community.

The result

Beauty Lab’s brand is the epitome of contemporary luxury meeting practical functionality. Seamlessly blending a sleek visual identity with an elevated mission created a space where professionals feel empowered, inspired, and supported.

From the subtle hues of its colour palette to the thoughtful design of its logo, I carefully curated every detail to leave a lasting impression.

Are you a beauty or wellness professional looking for a space that mirrors your dedication to excellence? Then,  you found the perfect fit. Indeed, Beauty Lab is a place where you can work, network, grow, and thrive—all in style.
